Bulletin, Part Deux

The crew walked out just before 5 pm here, and everything is up in the air at present. No pun intended. Sounds like they will patch together a skeleton crew, but they must supply the Tampa Bay broadcast with personnel first, so it remains to be seen whether Comcast can pull together enough of a crew to put tonight’s game on television. If so, it would likely resemble a mid-70s bare bones type of telecast. No sideline and between periods interviews, and fraction of the usual number of cameras.

Also, us media folks just had a short chat with Glen Hanlon. No John Erskine and no Matt Bradley tonight. Alexandre Giroux, summoned today from AHL Hershey, may or may not play. According to Hanlon, a couple other forwards are banged up. Giroux was recalled as a precautionary measure, and his presence (or lack thereof) in tonight’s lineup will be determined after the pregame skate.

More as it becomes available.
