#1 Habs done in 5. Should have been 4.

Any questions?

I didn't think so...

Sorry Caps fans, but I sense a dynasty in the making here and they're wearing orange and black.

All this talk of individual awards is for losers, IMHO. There is ONE award that matters and that is the Stanley Cup.

Alex should come home with all the hardware. He has the Ross, the Richard, and should win the Hart and Pearson. Jarome Iginla should be the two being voted on if there's any justice.

If Bruce wins the Adams, then it will be a very close victory over Guy Carbonneau, who did an outstanding job in Montreal. I can't believe Barry Trotz didn't get any love for the job he did in Nashville, getting that team to the post-season despite the stories of the team moving to Hamilton, Las Vegas, Kansas City...

Nick Backstrom... I hope he wins, but if I had to bet on one of the players, I'd bet on Patrick Kane. Not that I wouldn't rather have Backstrom on the Caps, but Kane had a better year this year, by a hair...(although Backstrom probably has better hair).

There are two other awards a Cap might have an outside shot at, Quintin Laing could get the Masterton, but I would give it to Jason Blake in Toronto (playing all 82 games despite getting cancer treatment). The other trophy is the King Clancy trophy for humanitarianism... lots of candidates on the Caps, but Olie won it 2 years ago, so it's unlikely the Caps will win it this year (I can see Alex winning it late in his career...)
