<description>You make some very excellent points in this article! I am a season ticket holder for the Caps. I hang out with the exact same people during EVERY intermission and these are the things we ALWAYS end up talking about. It's becoming very frustrating. Your next article should be titled 'The Art of Shooting the Puck' since the Caps have been drastically outshot in the last four meetings or so. Getting outshot by Florida 54-17?!? That was flat out embarrassing! Florida is the last place team in the division, and they abused us. And then you can write an article called 'How to Move the Puck Around on a Power Play'. Supposedly the Caps Power Play is ranked 21st in the league. I really can't see how the other 9 teams have a power play that is worse than ours. The 'Dump and Chase' method doesn't work on a power play! You need to take the puck across the blue line! And then one of three things happen 1) They dance around with the puck and move it around well, but never take any shots ot 2) The puck is cleared about three seconds after it ends up in the offensive zone. It's usually the later. There is a tremendous amount of talent on our team that most teams would kill to have. I think after a season and a half, that talent should be coming together. It's not. Someone needs to do something so that maybe Alex will WANT to stay here after his initial contract is over! Could you do all of us Caps fans a favor and make sure Glen Hanlon gets a copy of your article?
